Jesse Owens was an American track and field athlete. The 1936 Olympic Games saw him win four gold medals. He passed away on March 31, 1980, having been born on September 12, 1913.
He was fortunate to be acknowledged as the finest and most well-known athlete in field history and was also associated with sprints and the long jump. In his career, he broke three world records and tied another.
