The only NBA player to have at least 16,000 career points, 8,000 assists, and 1,500 steals without ever playing in an All-Star Game is him.

His mother enrolled him in a private school despite their financial difficulties and emphasized the value of education. His mother wished for his prosperity in life.

Sports at the time did not meet the definition of success. Sports weren’t important in Andre’s family and were more of a recreational hobby.

Work in the classroom and helping around the house were very important to Andre’s mother. She wished for him to achieve academic success and land a well-paying career.

However, she gave Andre her entire support after she saw he was interested in basketball and wanted to pursue a career in it.

Andre went to Verbum Dei High School and later earned a sociology degree from the University of Utah.

On December 19, 2006, however, the Nuggets dealt Miller to the Philadelphia 76ers. For Nugget, it was a devastating loss because Miller had emerged as a surprise performer throughout the 2006–07 campaign.

With his career records, Miller’s numbers increased across the board. Miller received a three-year, $21 million contract offer from the Blazers as a result of his outstanding play. The agreement was ratified on July 24, 2009.
