In terms of her family, Force is the daughter of Laurie Force and renowned racer John Force. Hood has two sisters, Courtney and Brittany, as well as an older half-sister, Adria, in addition to her parents.

On December 13, 2008, the couple also exchanged vows during their wedding ceremony in Lake Tahoe. Sadly, not much information about the events has been released.

Professional Drag Racer, Female
Ashley, as we all know, immediately began her drag racing career after graduating. She quickly joined forces with her father and competed in 2007 in a Mustang Top Fuel Funny Car sponsored by Castrol for her father’s team John Force Racing.
Additionally, the father-daughter team made history by competing against one another in NHRA. Unexpectedly, Ashley finished ahead of her father with an elapsed time of 4.779 seconds and a top speed of 510.24 kilometers per hour.
After winning, Force advanced to the semi-finals, and in October 2007 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, she became the first woman to compete in the national series TF/FC final round.
Sadly, Tony Pedregon won the holeshot against her. And it appeared that Ashley also took her losing streak from the beginning of the 2008 racing season. Force dropped three straight games in Houston, Las Vegas, and Atlanta.

To be clear, on March 30 at Houston, Force competed in her first final round of the year and fell to Del Worsham. She then defeated Tim Wilkerson in Las Vegas to become the first female driver of an NHRA Funny Car.
The same was true of her final opponent, John, her father, who was attempting to win his 1000th career round.
On April 27, 2008, Ashley finally won her first-ever NHRA Funny Car race against her father after all those defeats. In addition, it was a woman’s first victory ever.
On March 29, 2009, Force won her second career event at the O’Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals. Force earned her fourth number one qualifier of her career at the Southern Nationals after falling to Jack Beckman, his former teacher, in a match.
Ashley defeated her teammate Robert Hight to become the first female Funny Car driver to take first place in both classes. Not to mention, Force finished second in points for the season, the best finish for a female driver in Funny Car history.
In 2011, on January 25, Ashley was appointed president of John Force Entertainment. It is more akin to a John Force Racing subsidiary that will concentrate on creating media-related products and projects.

Throughout her athletic career, Ashley has always been a fan favorite. However, she experienced a tragic period in her life in her early years. Eric Medlen, a teammate of hers, died.
