Brendan began training in boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu after retiring from football in 2007. He competed in amateur boxing after six months of training and won the Colorado novice-division Golden Gloves heavyweight title. And He began his professional career in MMA and signed with UFC in 2009 to participate on The Ultimate Fighter’s tenth season. He submitted Demico Rogers in the first round of his debut fight.
