On April 18, 1995, Connor Clifton was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, in the United States. Tim Clifton Sr. and Joanie Clifton, his proud parents, welcomed him into the world.

While there, he participated in 2009’s Empire Junior Hockey League (EJHL), the precursor to today’s USPHL Elite Division, as a 14-year-old for the New Jersey Hitmen.
Then he joined the EJHL’s premier New Jersey Hitmen squad, the precursor to today’s NCDC. In 28 games as a 16-year-old with the Hitmen, he recorded 12 points.
Clifton was subsequently selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the fifth round of the NHL entry draft as the 133rd player overall. But they never did sign him.
Quinnipiac College
The young man, originally from New Jersey, wanted to hone his hockey abilities in the National Collegiate Athletic Association after that (NCAA).
After being accepted, he spent the following four years as a member of the men’s ice hockey squad at Quinnipiac University. In the 2013–14 season, he began his first year at Quinnipiac.

Three days before his 24th birthday, on April 25, Connor Clifton then made a comeback in Game 1. In the opening round, they had to face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
