“While it is clearly frustrating that we were unable to achieve the results we desired on the court, I am very glad that we were able to develop a system that values accountability, respect, and hard effort.” Although the short-term outcomes were not as expected, I am certain that the culture and values we prioritized will contribute to the growth and future success of the key young players who are already improving on a daily basis.

Will David Fizdale take over as head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans?

The New Orleans Pelicans announced the dismissal of head coach Alvin Gentry on August 15, following the end of his stint.

Following the announcement, vice president David Griffin stated unequivocally that they are not in a rush to find a replacement, urging patience in the process.
