Devontae Cacok studied at Alpharetta High School in Georgia’s Alpharetta. He initially found it difficult to keep up with other lads when they were playing because they were more experienced.

He also acknowledged that his junior year was a complete disaster.

But in his senior year, he worked harder and achieved considerably better scores. Cacok scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds on average each game. He also guided his group to a regional championship.

Career in College

Devontae was a freshman player for UNC Wilmington. He was completely new to the college, therefore he got anxious and struggled in his first season of play.

Cacok, though, prepared himself and played incredibly well his sophomore year. In his second season, he had a 12.2 point and 9.8 rebound average.

He also topped the country in field goal % and had a very good goal percentage for the entire season.

One of his happiest moments came on August 13 when he made his NBA debut for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Sacramento Kings.
