“I have decided to take legal action against The Economist for their cover story. I am demanding compensation for the emotional, mental, and social damage this incident has caused me. My legal team and I are arranging the next steps.”

Enas added that her photo had also been altered.

Enas may lose her lawsuit against The Economist because the image was obtained from the royalty-free company, Getty Images. In accordance with copyright regulations, the owner of the copyrights for a photograph is the person who took it. Enas may decide to file a defamation action, and she may succeed if she can show that the image slandered her.

Biography

Enas Taleb, who has yet to receive Wikipedia recognition, was born in Basra, Iraq. She was born in Basra and spent her early years there. On July 20, 2017, she posted information about her educational history on her Instagram. Enas claimed to have graduated from the theater department of the Institute of Fine Arts in 2000.

She afterwards joined the radio and television department at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad. Enas adores everything that has to do with journalism, TV, art, and the media and also completed the academy’s third stage with success, but in 2003 she went to Amman owing to poor security situations. At the University of Petra’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Journalism and Media, she completed her study of journalism there. Enas is presently spending her days in Baghdad.
