Evan was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft with the 149th overall pick. He agreed to a four-year deal with the Bengals on May 17.

Evan pleased the team management by playing well in his preseason games. As a result, he was chosen as the team’s starter for the regular season of 2021.
