Early Life, Family, and Education | Henry Bibby
Bibby was born on November 24, 1949, to Charlie and Evelyn Bibby and was given the full name Charles Henry Bibby. Franklinton, North Carolina, is where he was born. In terms of siblings, he has James (Jim) Blair Bibby, an older brother.
Henry Bibby reportedly lost both of his parents. To further explain, his mother passed away in 2003, while his father died in 1983.
Although the causes of both parents’ deaths were not made public, there are rumors that Henry’s mother’s health had been declining for some time.
As a result, Evelyn passed away at the age of 83, and a burial service was planned at Franklinton’s First Baptist Church.

College Degree and Amateur Career
After graduating from Person-Albion High School, Henry Bibby enrolled in the University of California. Furthermore, it is not surprising that Bibby began his athletic career early.
For instance, Bibby started playing basketball with his high school squad and later joined the UCLA men’s basketball team.
Bibby won the 1969 MVP Award alongside guard Andy Hill as a freshman at UCLA. After that, Bibby was named the team’s starting point guard by head coach John Wooden.
