Jackson Theron is one of the two adopted children of Academy winning actress, Charlize Theron. The 8-year-old, Jackson was assigned male at birth, however, her mother revealed in 2019 that her eldest child is a transgender girl.

Jackson has a younger sister named, August Theron (b: July 2015) who was also adopted by the Mad Max: Fury Road actress. Charlize who has never been married says her daughters are the reason for her happiness. She is solely enjoying her motherhood as a single parent.

Biography

Jackson Theron is one of the two adopted children of famous ‘Academy Award’-winning actor Charlize Theron. Jackson is a transgender child and was born in South Africa. Charlize was always vocal about her adoption plans. She finally made her wish come true when she visited several orphanages in South Africa. She adopted Jackson legally and began raising him as a boy.

And She shocked the media when she revealed that Jackson was actually a girl. Jackson came out with her true sexual identity when he was 3 years old. Charlize, who is a prominent LGBTQ activist, accepted the fact whole-heartedly. Since then, Charlize has raised Jackson as her daughter.

The exact date of Jackson’s birth is not known yet. She was born to an African–American couple and was adopted by Charlize Theron. Not much is known about Jackson’s biological parents. Both of Charlize’s daughters are close to her, and vice versa. Theron posted photos of her children on Instagram in honor of National Daughters Day. She captioned it as follows: “These two gorgeous powerhouses hold a special place in my heart. Never again will I be the same. Greetings on #NationalDaughtersDay.”

In a similar vein, Charlize stated in a DailyMail interview that her role as a parent is to “celebrate them, to love them, and to make sure that they have everything they need in order to be what they want to be. I will do everything in my power to ensure that my kids have that right and to be protected within that.”

Charlize, one of the most powerful figures in the entertainment business, is fiercely protective of her daughters. She prevents photographers from approaching them.
