Known as James ‘Flight’ White
James earned the moniker “Flight” in a local newspaper during his first or second year of high school due to his 45-inch vertical leap. The player was tall enough for his hand to extend roughly a foot above the top of the backboard.
Similar to that, James once received a challenge from a well-known streetball player. People gave White the moniker “Flight 75” for the duration of that day.
James was challenged by the player known by the nickname “50” as he was participating in an AND1 game in Cincinnati. He was killing him for sport as they traded blows back and forth. James couldn’t defeat him in a dunk competition, the person shouted.
They therefore cleared the area and had a dunk competition during halftime. After putting it off the shot clock, White performed the slam. James killed him, yet he has no memory of what he did.
If he’s 50, this guy’s 75, the announcer stated when the player shut it off. That is where the moniker “Flight 75” originated.
