Jocelyn Wildenstein is an American socialite known for her extensive cosmetic surgery, resulting in her catlike appearance. The seventy-five-year-old has earned herself a nickname of ‘Catwoman’ and ‘The Lion Queen.’

Early Childhood & Life

On August 5, 1940, Jocelyn Périsset was born in Lausanne, Switzerland. Her father worked as a salesperson for sporting goods. Little is known about her formative years. Later, her mother had Alzheimer’s illness, and her father-in-law, Daniel Wildenstein, helped her at “Ol Jogi.”

At the age of 17, she started dating Swiss film producer Cyril Piguet; two years later, the couple relocated to Paris together. Later, Wildenstein claimed that her life “changed then,” when she was finally able to meet “interesting, gorgeous” individuals after being released from the “plain” Lausanne.

She dated French-Italian filmmaker Sergio Gobbi for five years after splitting with Piguet. She took many trips during these years, visiting Africa in particular because it continually intrigued her. There, she ran into Wildenstein. She was also connected to the Saudi arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi at some point during this time, who introduced her to Wildenstein. Career

Jocelyn said that her talents were elsewhere and that she had no desire in pursuing a conventional career with “The New York Times.” She claimed to be “maybe exceptionally adept at decoration” in the same interview. Her profession as a socialite and wife afterwards became inextricably linked to her personal life, which is still the case as of 2018.

Personal life

In 1977, while on a safari in Kenya with friends, she met Alec N. Wildenstein, the son of prominent French art dealer Daniel Wildenstein. When the socialite approached her future husband, he was busy inspecting family land (the 66,000-acre “Ol Jogi”) when she introduced herself by asking if she could go hunting with him.

At the time, they were both associated with other people. Alec was seeing Ford model Maria Kimberly, who appeared in French director Jacques Tati’s movie “Traffic,” while Jocelyn was dating Gobbi. These connections ended shortly after that.

On April 30, 1978, the pair fled to Las Vegas and allegedly got married there in defiance of Alec Wildenstein’s father, Daniel Wildenstein. A rabbi performed the marriage ceremony, and Jocelyn later stated that Alec had been eager to convert her to Judaism. The elder Wildenstein abstained from their second wedding ceremony in Lausanne and urged Kimberly to get her son back.

The couple initially resided in New York’s “Olympic Tower” during the early years of their marriage before relocating to a townhouse on East 64th Street. A year after being married, the newlyweds underwent their first cosmetic procedures as a couple after Jocelyn complained that her husband’s eyes appeared “baggy.” Jocelyn’s husband subsequently remarked that she wished to “fix her face like a piece of furniture.” This was the start of her lifelong fascination with surgery.

Even though the relationship between Daniel Wildenstein and his daughter-in-law entirely soured after their acrimonious divorce, they grew closer after she gave birth to Diane and Alec Jr.

What Will Jocelyn Wildenstein’s Net Worth Be In 2022?

Jocelyn Perisset, sometimes known as Jocelyn Wildenstein, is an American socialite whose cat-like appearance is a product of considerable cosmetic surgery. The 84-year-old is known as “Catwoman” and “The Lion Queen,” among other nicknames.

Wildenstein amasses a massive net worth of $10 million as of 2021, per the celebrity net worth. The amount is considerably less given the socialite’s value as a former millionaire, even though it may seem large to her. In 2021, Alec, her ex-husband, will have a net worth of $10 billion.

Jocelyn Wildenstein, a former billionaire, is aware of how to live like one by spending a lot of money on her comfort. She gained a lot of notoriety when her annual wine and phone expenses were estimated to be approximately $547,000 per year. She also won a staggering $2.5 billion from the settlement of her divorce from Alec.

Her face underwent a number of plastic surgery procedures by Wildenstein, dramatically altering the way it looks. She invested a sizable portion of her income in numerous plastic surgery. The Catwoman even sold Janna Bullock, a property entrepreneur, her old New York home for a staggering $13 million.

In addition to her facial changes, her personal connections are also quite fascinating. Despite not being married, Wildstein has experience as a wife.

The status of Jocelyn Wildenstein’s relationships

In the past, Jocelyn Wildenstein has been a part of a number of reputable relationships. She dated Swiss filmmaker Cyril Piguet, who produced a number of well-known movies, including “Un Commerce tranquille,” before she wed Alec N. Wildenstein. At the time, the diva was just seventeen years old.

For a very long time, Jocelyn and Piguet’s relationship was unsuccessful. The popular plastic surgeon had a different relationship with French-Italian director Sergio Gobbi. She and Sergio stayed in Paris for a long period. She acquired her piloting and hunting skills in that ideal metropolis. Following her divorce, Wildenstein dated French fashion designer Lloyd Klein for more than ten years, from 2003 to 2016.

To Alec N. Wildenstein, divorcee

The former rich American socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein owes a large portion of her success to her ex-husband Alec N. Wildenstein. Alec has a staggering net worth of $10 billion because he comes from a famous family of art dealers.

In 1978, Wildenstein and businessman Alec Wildenstein wed after a long-distance relationship. When they exchanged vows, the couple was each in their thirties. The couple were wed for twenty-two years of their life. In the midst of it all, they had two gorgeous kids together.

Despite dating for more than 20 years, Jocelyn Wildenstein and Alec N. Wildenstein’s relationship ended badly. When the Cat Woman discovered her husband having a sexual relationship with a 19-year-old Russian model, the couple split in 1999. When the art dealer became enraged and brandished a gun at Jocelyn, the diva was in a strong negotiation position for their divorce settlement. You may also like to know about Vanna White.
