As indicated by Sports Illustrated representative Ross Dellenger, Kelly Orgeron has dealt with medical emergencies after the surgery for her life because of the back condition called “scoliosis.”
For those unknown, Scoliosis is a condition where the spine curves; Kelly used to wear a brace earlier. Later, she had a rod inserted in her back spine when she was 15.

Neurosurgeons conducted two 10-hours operations over three days on Kelly’s spine in 2018.
One of that medical operations almost ended her life last May when a specialist unintentionally cut her colon while attempting to embed bars and screws into her spine.
Four days after the operation, Kelly Orgeron’s heartbeat dropped to dangerous levels, and Ed called the specialist.
“Medical staff revealed the inadvertent cut in her digestive organ and hurried her to a medical procedure, assuming Kelly was creating sepsis, the body’s dangerous reaction to a contamination, for this situation due to the pin-sized cut in her colon.”
However, the operation was successful, and she was out of danger. But at the same time, doctors were afraid that they might have to face legal charges.
