2014-16
It was changed from Charlotte Bobcats to Charlotte Hornets. On October 29, Kemba defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 108-106 in the first game of the 2014–15 season. He ended with 26 points, five assists, and six rebounds.
With 1.6 seconds remaining, he made a three-pointer to send the game into overtime and then made the game-winning jumper. He agreed to a four-year, $48 million contract with the Hornets the next day.
On December 27, Kemba scored a career-high 42 points against the Orlando Magic, and his 35 points in the second half set a Charlotte Hornets franchise record for most points scored in a half.
