Leigh Langley Davis grew up in Columbus, Georgia. However, we were unable to locate any information about her family history.
She graduated from Columbus High School in 1979. She then enrolled at Auburn University in Alabama. Davis now resides in Hartford County, Connecticut. She relocated to the suburbs after her husband was hired by ESPN.

Davis worked as a sales rep for WRBL-TV. She began working at their Columbus location immediately after graduating from college.

Chris played Division I baseball for Princeton University. He suffered a severe injury after colliding with another teammate during a game in March 2017.
He did not leave the game immediately and continued to play despite his injury. His condition, however, deteriorated a few hours later. His family rushed him to the hospital, where it was discovered that he had ruptured his spleen.
Chris received treatment at Washington Hospital Medical Center and underwent two surgeries.
Rece Davis had an eye-opening experience. Davis was able to see sports-related injuries in a new light, owing to the fact that they affected the athlete’s family members just as much.
Chris was finally able to return to college after taking months off to recover. But it was a difficult time for him, so Leigh relocated closer to his college to assist him with his recovery.
Leigh purchased an apartment close to Princeton University. She carried his books and other college materials for him as he moved from class to class.
