Similarly, her life was twice affected by the tragedy, as she is the wife of the master of martial arts and action hero Bruce Lee (1940–1973) and actor Brandon Lee‘s mother (1965–1993).

Linda was born on March 21, 1945, in Everett, Washington, USA as Linda Emery to the late parents Vivian R. (Hester) and Everett Emery. She is an English, Irish, Norwegian, Swedish, and Dutch ancestry and holds an American nationality. She studied at the Garfield High School and graduated from the University of Washington.

First Marriage with Late Martial Artist, Bruce Lee

In 1963, Linda Lee was a student at the University of Washington when she first met Bruce, the man she would later marry. She recalled their fateful encounter and remarked that Lee had been charismatic from the start. At the initial meeting, she thought this guy was different and that she probably couldn’t hurt by finding him attractive.

On August 17, 1964, three years before the US Supreme Court permitted interracial marriage, the college sweetheart got married. The marriage was blessed with two children: Brandon Lee (1965) and Shannon Lee (1969). In addition to being a fantastic fighter, the late Bruce was also a wonderful father.

Likewise, Taky Kimura, Steve McQueen, James Coburn, Dan Inosanto, Peter Chin, and Lee’s brother Robert were among those who attended the burial of Lee’s remains on July 5, 1973, at Lake View Cemetery in Seattle, Washington.

An allergic reaction was the primary factor in Jeet Kune’s founder, Lee, passing away. cerebral edema is the reaction brought on by heat stroke and excessive exertion.

Found Partner After Losing Bruce Again

She married twice following the devastating passing of her better half, Lee. In 1988, she first got married to writer and actor Tom Bleecker. However, they divorced in 1990, just two years after they got married.
