Biography
Luke Macfarlane was born as Thomas Luke Macfarlane on January 19, 1980, in London, Canada. Thomas Macfarlane was in charge of student health services at the University of Western Ontario, where he was his son’s father. His mother, Penny Macfarlane, worked as a nurse for people with mental health problems.
Macfarlane grew up with Ruth Macfarlane, his twin sister, and Rebecca Macfarlane, his older sister. As a child, he went to the Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts and then graduated from the London Central Secondary School. After he moved to New York, he got his acting degree from the Juilliard School.
In June 2018, he became a citizen of the United States.
