In August 2007, Jabeur began competing on the ITF circuit. She made her junior Grand Slam debut at the 2009 US Open two years later but lost her opening game to Laura Robson. Jabeur won her first $25K championship in Tunisia in April 2013, despite her lack of success on the ITF Circuit in 2012. At the 2014 US Open and the 2015 Australian Open, Jabeur qualified for two Grand Slam main draws, however she lost her first matches in both competitions.
