The weekend anchor for Global National and B.C. Correspondent, Robin Gill, enjoys a stable profession, but this hasn’t always been the case for the diva. Prior to moving to Saskatchewan to work as a reporter/anchor, she started her career as a writer and researcher for CHAN-TV.

Later, Gill worked in Vancouver as a correspondent for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. She also started A-Channel, a news channel in Calgary where she hosted the nightly news broadcasts as well as the morning show. In the summer of 2000, she relocated from New York to Toronto to cover Global News for CIII-TV. Over the years, she has covered a wide range of stories, including the SARS pandemic, the provincial elections in 2003 and 2007, the 2003 blackout, and the Dalai Lama’s visit to the nation.
