Rondа Rоusеу is a US-based mixed martial artist, judoka but knоwn by many as a WWE Performer and an avid actor.

She was a RAW’s Women’s Division member during her short stint at WWE. With 231 days as RAW Women’s Champion, she holds the record for the second-longest reign in the title’s history.

Career in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)

In October 2013, Bethe agreed to a number of fights with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). She said:

“Being in the UFC gives you the opportunity to compete against the best in the world and take on significant challenges. Any fighter’s dream is to achieve it.

Correia made her promotional debut in December of that year when she competed against Julie Kedzie, one of the MMA experts, at UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Bigfoot. Bethe had engaged in six professional fights during that time, compared to twenty-eight for Kedzie.

Correia prevailed via a split decision. Later, she competed against Jessamyn Duke at UFC 172 on April 26, 2014. Bethe used quick hitting to out-point Duke despite having a limited reach and closed the distance by backing Jessamyn against the cage.

Ultimately, Bethe prevailed via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, and 30-27). In UFC 177 on August 30, 2014, Bethe squared off against Shayna Baszler.

After surviving a trial for submission later in the first round, Correia upped the ante with her punching and won via TKO at 1:56 in the second.

Bantamweight Champion

Former Strikeforce bantamweight champions Miesha Tate and Sarah Kaufman challenged Correia following her third straight victory in the UFC.

She first stated that she was interested in confronting Kaufman, but she later acknowledged that her main focus was on Ronda Rousey, the former UFC bantamweight champion.

After defeating Jessamyn Duke, one of Ronda Rousey’s unofficial “Four Horsewomen,” Bethe started competing for a chance to challenge Rousey for the championship. She extended four fingers toward the camera in a symbolic gesture before lowering one.

After overcoming Horsewoman Baszler, she took that action. The title battle between Bethe and Rousey will take place on August 1, 2015, at UFC 190, according to UFC officials. Before the battle, Bethe exuded a lot of confidence, saying she was ready to hand Rousey the worst beating of her career.

2018–2019 Conflicts

Bethe will take on Irene Aldana at UFC 227 on August 4, 2018, according to the UFC. However, because of Correia’s injury, the UFC decided to cancel the bout from this event.
