On April 5, 1978, Stephen Jesse Jackson or Stephen Jackson was born in Houston, Texas, in the United States. His parents, George Aldridge and Judy Jackson, are both native Texans.

When he was a little child, his mother, Judyette, and his father, who lived in Port Arthur, Texas, divorced.Living with their mother rather than their father, Stephen and his siblings Bianca and Donnie took on her last name.

Additionally, he had a stepbrother named Donald Buckner Jr. who was roughly nine years older than him. He taught him everything, including how to play basketball, act politely in public, and flirt with women.

But Donald passed away as a result of life-threatening wounds he received in a fight with his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend.

Jackson, who was only 16 years old, felt so terrible that it entirely altered his attitude moving forward.

His mother, Judy, supported her three children by working two jobs and raising them alone. Jackson started working and helping to support his family as he realised the struggles his family was through.

When he was old enough to start school, he worked at his grandfather’s grocery store.

Jackosn first attended the Lincoln Memorial High School in Port Arthur, but as his grades there declined, he eventually relocated to the Oak Hill Academy in Virginia.

He continued to play basketball despite awful circumstances, which helped him get healthier. Without a doubt, his mother deserves the credit because she did not put too much pressure on him and sent him to school to play basketball and learn.

For the Lincoln Memorial School in Texas, Stephen mainly participated in high school basketball tournaments. He did, however, play for Virginia’s Oak Hill Academy during his senior year of high school.

Instead, he had the chance to head straight to the Phoenix Suns’ Arizona practise facility and participate in a number of pickup games before the draught.

Career in the Profession

Jackson had never played college basketball, but Danny Ainge of the Phoenix Suns thought he might help them, so he chose him with the 42nd overall pick in the 1997 NBA draught.

The team president later altered his mind, and Jackson was discharged without taking part in many games. As a result, Stephen left the country and began playing for teams in China, Venezuela, and Australia.
