But Charlie himself had faced his beloved wife Tisha Taylor‘s death in 2009. Tisha died of cervical cancer which she was diagnosed two years earlier in 2007. Mo’Nique is also an American stand-up comedian just like Murphy.

When Did She Meet Charlie?

Sources claim that Tisha and Charlie originally connected at a boat party. After being acquainted by their shared friends, the couple immediately fell in love. Then, they occasionally started seeing each other.

Charlie even drove her to Eddie Murphy’s residence, who is his brother. Eddie is a stand-up comedian, actor, and singer who is up for a Golden Globe Award. He is perhaps most recognized for his role as a cast member of Saturday Night Live. Charlie remarked once;

On August 12, 1997, Tisha exchanged vows with Charlie in a ceremony. Charlie was already the father of a child from a previous relationship. Tisha and Charlie have two younger children together. Tisha’s spouse was a full-time karate practitioner who always found time for the family.

After being married for over three years, Charlie started a career in show business. Tisha and Charlie quickly gained notoriety as the world’s most famous celebrity couple.

Tisha’s Death Shattered her Blissful Marriage

One day, Charlie returned home and discovered Tisha sobbing in their children’s room. He discovered his wife had cervical cancer at that point. Tisha, though, shown her strength. She planned every aspect of her funeral personally, down to the last detail.

On December 13, 2009, Tisha ultimately passed away after a protracted battle with cancer. Charlie was never the same after she died. Losing the person Charlie loved the most in the world was unimaginable to him. In a Vibe interview, he stated

I’m not okay; you’re never really okay you just learn to live with it. That’s something monumental, losing somebody that close in your life. It happened to my children, and me you don’t get used to it and you don’t get over it.

Charlie reared their children alone after Tisha passed away. He was a good husband and father up until his death on April 12, 2017, which was brought on by leukemia complications.

Tisha Taylor was a celebrity wife and her profession was not revealed. She was famous as the late wife of Charles Murphy. Charlie Murphy worked for the hip-hop band K-9 Posse before he was in films. Additionally, he was the executive producer of the band’s debut self-titled album. Besides, Charles also wrote two of the songs. In 1989, he made his film debut in the film Harlem Nights. Likewise, the film was directed by his brother Eddie Murphy. Additionally, it revolved around a team that ran a nightclub.

Later, in 2010 and 2012, he started in Lottery Ticket and Moving Today respectively. In 2016, he was featured in a movie before his untimely death.
