For hand-thrown clay targets, Sharpshooter Tom has set the greatest three world records of his career. By shooting with an M1 Super 90 in less than 2 seconds, he first established his first World record in 1993. Additionally, in 2000, he fired eight clay targets with his pump shotgun in one hand at a time of 1.87 seconds. In 2004, he fired ten clay targets into the air with a single hand using a 12-ga M2 Field semi-auto shotgun in 2.2 seconds.

Tom didn’t want a funeral service, therefore there wasn’t one. At the Del Tone/Luth Gun Club in St. Cloud, Minnesota, on May 11, 2013, at 1 p.m., all of his family members and friends showed up for the burial service. The Knapp family chose to attend a memorial service at the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation even though Tom did not want a funeral.
Tom Knapp’s Death
The Minnesota-based sniper, Knapp took his last breath at the age of 62 on Friday, 26th April 2013, in Rochester Minnesota, the United States at St. Mary’s Hospital at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Three years before his disease, he was suffering from several medical problems and the cause of his death was pulmonary fibrosis. There was no funeral service since Tom did not wish to have it. Later, all of his relatives and friends attended the burial service at 1 p.m. on 11th May 2013 at the Del Tone/Luth Gun Club in St. Cloud. Although Tom did not want to have a funeral, the Knapp family agreed to assemble for a memorial ceremony at the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
