Victoria Tennant is an English actress who garnered fame for portraying Pamela Tudsbury in the TV miniseries ‘The Winds of War’ and ‘War and Remembrance’. A London native, she grew up in a family where artistic pursuits were encouraged. She began receiving ballet lessons when she was young and attended the Elmhurst Ballet School and then the Central School of Speech and Drama.

Tennant made her screen debut in the 1972 film ‘The Ragman’s Daughter’. Her first TV role was in a 1979 episode of ‘Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson’. After establishing herself as a prominent actress in the British and the European entertainment industries, she decided to pursue a career in Hollywood. In 1981, she starred in the British-Hong Kong horror film ‘Inseminoid’ and in her first American film, ‘Sphinx’. She subsequently played Helen Curtiss in the French telefilm ‘La guerre des insectes’ and Annette Dorberg in the German feature film ‘Ich bin dein Killer’ (1982). She also made a guest appearance in a season five episode of Roald Dahl’s ‘Tales of the Unexpected’ in 1982.
