Weijia Jiang, whose parents are Liya Wei and Huade “John” Jiang, were born in Xiamen, Mainland China, and moved to the United States when she was two years old. She was raised in Buckhannon, West Virginia, by parents who owned and operated Chinatown Restaurant. Her parents are now gone.
